Abstract
The reinforced concrete (RC) is considered as the most widely used construction material, advances in the science of concrete materials have led to the development of a new class of cementitious composites, namely ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC). The mechanical properties of UHPC help to developing a new solution in construction engineer, lower tensile and flexural strength are the biggest problems of RC. The main focus of this research was to develop a ultra-high performance fiber concrete (UHPFC) with compressive strength of 150 MPa using different type and volume fraction (VF) of steel fiber. In this study, two types of steel fiber were used, a corrugated and hooked end with ratio 1,2 and 3%. The mechanical properties have been enhanced by increasing VF, the compressive, splitting and flexural strength increased 25, 38.6 and 63% by using 3% steel fiber than UHPC. The corrugated steel fiber enhanced the mechanical properties of UHFC more than hooked end steel fiber.
