Abstract
Each developing country has its own vision that scheduled by an agenda to make the country assured that it is in the right track to achieve its vision as scheduled such as Egypt, Egypt has 2030 agenda to reach its vision , this is mostly by construction of new cities , airports , ports , …. Etc., we have to mention that the infrastructure is very critical to all the developing countries to reach their vision as it is supporting all these projects and any delay in the infrastructure projects will accompanied by delay of the scheduled agenda.

So that we found it is very important to highlight the importance of the infrastructure projects in our research by implementing and improve one of the DATs “The but for method” to an infrastructure project

the delay analysis techniques are used to resolve the disputes between the stakeholders of the project, that is done by analyzing the delay and determine its owner , but beside that it also gives trust to all the stakeholders to continue the project when the delay occurred as it will be analyzed and the responsible party of the delay and will be determined also analyzing the reasons of the delay helps in the future projects to avoid the delay.

According to the above, we find it is quite imperative to improve the drawbacks of the DATs and here we concerned the but for method to improve this technique by solving one of the important drawbacks “concurrency drawback”.
